Sun-dried tomatoes offer a big bang of flavor for such a little ingredient! The tomato flavor is highly concentrated and sweet. When packed in liquid, sun-dried tomatoes are tender and soft.

Remove sun-dried tomatoes from oil or water. Slice into 1/4 inch strips or smaller before tossing into salads. They go great with any flavor, but especially when paired with fresh mozzarella and artichokes.
